Dear Families and Friends of Praise Cathedral:

As Pastor and Leader of Praise Cathedral Worship Centre, I have lived by a core value that the health, wellness and welfare of the members, friends and community are my number one priority. This enduring value guides me to face the difficult challenge of responding to the Corona Virus (COVID-19) which the World Health Organization declared a pandemic on Wednesday.

My heart and thoughts go out to the people who have been affected by this unprecedented event and I appreciate the healthcare workers, local communities and governments around the world who are on the front line working to contain this Corona Virus. Wisdom dictates that we follow the instructions of the Health Canada, and our Government officials at the federal, provincial and municipal levels.

Let us, however, not operate in fear, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power and of love and of a sound mind. As we make these hard decisions, I remind you that Faith is not exclusive of Wisdom!

In accordance with the announcement made by Premier of Ontario Doug Ford on Tuesday March 17, please be advised that our Sunday, Wednesday and nightly fasting services are cancelled until further notice. In addition to this, our office at Praise Cathedral will also be closed until further notice. We will be live streaming our 11:00 a.m. sermon on Sundays, and you will be able to give online.

I invite you to continue with me in forty (40) days of fasting and prayer that was started last Sunday, March 15, 2020. We will be seeking God’s mercy and healing for our nation and our world and asking God to bring a halt to the Corona Virus outbreak.

Please watch our live stream sermon from this website,, our YouTube channel PCWC Live, or our Facebook page. You can also worship in giving from our website, just select donate on the web site menu or using your camera to zoom in on the QR code below and follow the instructions.
