Praise Cathedral Worship Centre has a wonderful music ministry including Choir, Group, Soloist, Instrumental, Band, Sanctuary, Youth and Children's Choir. From hymns to Praise and Worship songs, we raise our voices in praise to our Heavenly Father. We truly “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord..." (Psalms 98:4)
Led by Jassette Haughton, our Praise and Worship Leader, the talented team sings a mixture of spirited contemporary praise and worship songs, choruses, and favorites hymns the Church of God Hymnal. Special songs by groups and soloists regularly sing praises to God. Christian musical programs are presented during holidays and other special events. Many singers contribute to the choir, to special groups, and are soloists also. Our musicians offer up a truly wonderful sounding praise using a wide variety of instruments.
PCWC is blessed with many very talented musicians and singers. They all work to praise God and give him the glory. Come hear us and help us "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord..."
Comprised of over 30 voices, the Mississauga based Praise Cathedral Sanctuary Choir is filled with dedicated men and ladies who love the Lord and love to sing. In line with the vision of our Senior Pastor, we dedicate ourselves in both spiritual and musical growth. Over the past year we have added to our membership and are steadily growing.
Under the direction of our music director Rev. Fitzgerald Williams and the choir directors Stephen Napier and Dawnette Williams, the choir is focused on sharing the gospel to the community by the powerful medium of music.
The repertoire of songs range from traditional hymns to contemporary gospel music. In addition to singing for the church's regular Sunday worship services, the Sanctuary choir at times presents renditions at local and regional crusades and conventions for the Church of God. We conduct open house rehearsals on Thursday evenings from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm in the main sanctuary, and are always welcoming new and potential members.
